When Is the Library Open?
The library is open during these hours:
Monday 9 am – 9 pm
Tuesday 9 am – 9 pm
Wednesday 9 am – 9 pm
Thursday 9 am – 9 pm
Friday 9 am – 5 pm
Saturday 9 am – 5 pm
Sunday 12 pm – 4 pm (October-April)
How Do I Get a Library Card?
You can sign up for a card in-person at the library. You will need current government issued identification and proof of your current address. If you only wish to access electronic materials, you can apply for an eCard here.
Does the Library Offer eBooks and Downloadable Audiobooks?

Where Can I Find Storytimes and Other Events?
The Greece Public Library offers a variety of Children’s, Teen and Adult programming.Please check our calendar for program details.
Can I Donate Books to the Library?
Donations of books, puzzles and videos is managed by The Friends of the Library. Currently, they are ONLY accepting donations directly at Buckman’s Plaza (2590 West Ridge Road) the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 10 am – 12 pm. No donations will be accepted at the library.
Does the Library Have a Copier?
Yes – Copies are $0.25 per page.
Does the Library Have a Fax Machine?
Yes – Faxes are $1.00 per page.
Does the Library Have a Scanner?
Yes, and there is no charge to scan
Does the Library Have Computers?
Yes – You must have a library card to use a computer. Printing in black and white is $0.25 per page and printing in color is $0.50 per page. Please note that the computer speakers have been turned off. We recommend that you bring your own wired headphones if you wish to hear sound while using our computers.
Is the Library Accepting Volunteers?
We are not accepting volunteers at this time. Future volunteer opportunities will be listed on the top of our homepage.
Are There Any Job Opportunities at the Library?
Most positions at the library require Monroe County Civil Service certification. For more information about Monroe County Civil Service, please click here. For non-Civil Service positions at the library, you can complete and submit an application here.
Does the Library have Private Study Rooms?
No. The library does not offer private study rooms. We do have a dedicated and enclosed Quiet Study for this purpose.
Do you offer Notary services at the library?
No. The library does not have a notary service. Please ask a librarian for additional information about the availability of local notary services.
Does the library have a bookstore?
Yes! The Friends of the Greece Public Library operate the Secondhand Prose Bookstore here in the library. Click here to view bookstore hours and learn more.
