The Glimpses of Greece photography contest winners have been announced! This year 58 entries were submitted. Winners were chosen by our judges, photographers Jerome Davis, Jim Montanus, and Scott Hooker. Greece Town Supervisor, Bill Reilich, selected the “Supervisor’s Pick” and an online poll on our website determined the “People’s Choice” award. Over 500 people voted on the People’s Choice category.
Here are the winners for the 7th Annual contest:

- On the Water: Sue Rossi for “Sunset at Braddock Bay”
- Springtime in Greece: Kris Montalbano for “Yellow Warbler at Manitou Beach Preserve”
- Iconic Locations in Greece: Jim Callahan for “St. John the Evangelist’s at Night”
- Supervisor’s Pick: Cindy El Gaaly for “Sunset at Greece Town Park”
- People’s Choice award: Bronte Jones for “Green Acres”

The winning photos will appear in the 2024 Glimpses of Greece calendar. A limited number of calendars (one per family) will be available at the library beginning December 1, 2023. Thank you to the Friends of the Greece Public Library for sponsoring the contest!
