Meet Karen
Hi everyone! My name is Karen and I am one of the Children’s Librarians here at the Greece Public Library. I have worked for the library for ten years and specialize in Early Literacy Education. I enjoy sharing my love of reading and lifelong learning with the community. I think the library is one of the best places to be!
You will find me hosting the Tween Book Club, Tween Book Club, Tween After School Makers Club and Tween Yoga for ages 9 – 12. I also offer programs for children including Yoga for Kids and Books and Beyond Story Time for all ages on Tuesday mornings. My favorite story time activity is sharing books and playing with scarves!
I enjoy finding great books for the children’s collections I manage. My favorite children’s author is Tomie dePaola. I would love to help you find the perfect book!
Meet Ashley
Hi! I am Ashley and I am a Teen Librarian at the Greece Public Library. I currently plan teen programs and have fun organizing monthly Teen Book Boxes and Art to Go. I have recently started hosting the Teen Advisory Board and I am excited to learn and grow with all of the new and current members. I am a huge fan of YA fiction and enjoy purchasing the teen collection, which has helped me find new interests such as Anime and Manga. Sarah Dessen will always be my favorite young adult romance author, but I will also always enjoy a good mystery book!
