Interested Applicants Will…
- Be between the ages of 13-17.
- Complete the application and submit in person to the information desk in the Story Garden, or complete the application below.
Volunteering Involves…
- Maintaining the safety of the play space by collecting toys, general organizing and cleaning.
- Alerts staff to any issues that arise.
- Other duties as assigned.
Story Garden Volunteer Job Expectations:
- Volunteer for a minimum of 3 months.
- Enjoy working with children and families.
- Possess a friendly, helpful attitude.
- Be prompt and dependable.
- Be responsible and adaptable.
- Be able to take direction from library staff.
- Be willing to do other library tasks as needed.
- Be able to independently interact with the public.
- Be available to volunteer in two-hour shifts.
- Be available to volunteer at least twice a month.
Volunteer Hours Include:
Monday through Thursday: 10am – 7pm
Fridays: 10am – 4pm
Saturdays: 10am – 4pm
Sundays: 12pm – 4pm (October – April)
